ABOUT
 

The Joy of Movement 

Movement has always been my passion. Born and raised in Switzerland, I have studied dance at various schools in Berne, Zurich, New York, Los Angeles and London and since the age of 18 I have been working as a professional dancer and dance teacher. My studies in dance brought me closer to the training method of Joseph Pilates and its many benefits. It helped me tremendously with lower back pain I was suffering from due to the intensive dance training and my scoliosis. I enjoyed this method so much, that in 2016 I became a certified Pilates instructor.

On my journey to a deeper understanding of movement and its many benefits I started the practice of Yoga. At first I was mainly interested in the physical aspect, later on I noticed that there is so much more to this practice. Vinyasa Yoga in particular made me feel like I was dancing on the mat. It brought me into a meditative state, I learned to be present and to connect the body and mind. In 2023 my 200-hour Yoga teacher training followed.

I love sharing my knowledge and helping others to find the connection to their body and mind. It fills me with gratitude that I can call this my job.

What to Expect

Whether you would like to build up strength, become more flexible, get rid of your back pain or you want to connect body and mind, my goal is to give you the experience you are looking for. I specialise in a variety of different methods including Pilates mat, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation and Barre. Through my experience in dance, my classes are centred around fluidity in motion as well as breath and body connection. I am adapting my classes to each individual and their ability. There are always many options to choose from in my sequences so all I ask is that you come as you are, and let’s share some space together.
